Ozymandias is released!

After a wonderful weekend at the Auckland Gamesfair, Ozymandias is released into the wild!
We had a great time running demos, and testing the waters with those at the fair! I wanna give a huge thanks to everyone who bought a physical copy, or anyone who just stopped by the stall. This is my first time doing a physical release like this, so its wonderful to be met with so much support.
What's next?
The original scope for Ozymandias was a little larger, and a lot ended up being cut due to time restraints. I'm hoping that further down the line I can find a home for all of it in some supplements to the original game. Here's an idea of what you might expect further down the line.
- More example events! These were super helpful for new players, or those less familiar with TTRPGs, and so I'd love to provide more support.
- Some minor changes to how reactions/upkeep work. While the parts of your turn are intended to blur and blend throughout play, I think a lot of players might enjoy a more specific structure when it comes to reacting to other players turns, especially when another player starts sending events your way.
- More essays, and philosophy. This is the stuff I'm the most bummed about having to cut. The game originally had several short essays on the relationships between culture and technology, colonialism, the myth of stadial progress, and anthropology. Hopefully supplements might be a better home for this stuff. Though, if you're interested in some of my writing you can check out https://linktr.ee/eamonntee
- Starter sheets. For those who want to jump straight into play, I'm wanting to include some premade cultures, and maps, so you can jump straight into events and your history. All over the weekend we got to create some amazing worlds, and I'd love to share some of the highlights in this format.
